June is the most popular month for weddings, but it’s not too late to hire a professional videographer. Wedding videos have been popular since the invention of video cameras, but they weren’t always as successful or artistic. Modern, advanced equipment has made wedding videos creative, artistic, and even cinematic. And weddings aren’t the only family events that are recorded on video. Other events include anniversaries, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, graduations, and even birthdays. So, if you are going to the chapel, or celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or other special event this summer, you’ve come to the right place.
Questions for Your Wedding Photographer
If you are getting married this summer or even next summer, you will want to shop around for a professional videographer to record your special event. In the process there are certain questions you will want to ask:
What style video do you shoot?
There are two video styles: cinematic and documentary. A cinematic video is more artistic and requires someone who is versed in applying feature-film techniques. However, if you are looking for a simple chronicle of the day, you will want to choose someone who has experience with documentary style videos.
What type of wedding packages do you offer?
There is a possibility that the photographer may have different packages (based on time, location, etc.) to choose from for different prices. If so, you will want to know what options are available. This way can you will get the style and schedule you want according to the budget you can afford.
Do you have samples?
Every photographer is unique and has their own style of creativity and storytelling. You will want to discuss the photographers individual style and view samples of their work to make sure you are on the same page.
