Why Creative Design Photography?

Creative design photography is meant to be unique, eye-catching, and memorable. It is not the same as point and shoot photography, for instance when taking a family photograph or a photo of a still life, etc. It is something more than that. It’s a combination of art and photography that brings to life a vision, a message, or just a really cool photo. When creating a creative design photograph, the photographer may use any of a number of mediums including sculptures, models, dioramas, food, and more. Why creative design photography? So you will never forget it.

Make an Impression

Do you know why some TV commercials are so weird? It’s to make an impression so you will remember them. The same goes for creative design photography. By providing a striking image, a complex idea, or creating a reality from your imagination, the uniqueness makes an impact on the viewer and they will remember it. It’s a great way to bring attention to your business, your product, your practice, your agency, etc. Creative photography can be used for advertisements on billboards and elsewhere; in magazines or on websites to add visual interest to large blocks of black and white copy; or for personal use.

Vision or No Vision

Whether you have a clear vision of your project or not it doesn’t matter. If you have a very clear vision, your photographer will work with you to create that vision. However, if you only have a nugget of a concept, that is Doug’s favorite kind of project. That means his imagination can go to work and together you can brainstorm ideas until you develop just the one you are looking for, a realization of your vision.
